The Weekly News received this letter from Andrew Davies of Kenilworth (yes the famous Andrew Davies, the screenwriter and author).

I HAVE just been lunching at La Cucina restaurant in Warwick Road, Kenilworth - delicious, as always. They make the best Melanzane alla Parmigiana I've ever tasted, here, in London, or in Italy, and their pizzas are highly rated by my grandchildren. I frequently bring colleagues from the BBC when they are up from London, and they all love the food and service too. With all the new places opening up - and good luck to them too - your readers might be overlooking this excellent and inexpensive local place with its authentic Italian cuisine. It's very unpretentious, but believe me, it's the real thing.

Please post a comment below.
